Our Beginnings
Makeitpopwithchop was founded by Ruben Z. Alvarado after Graduating High School in 1990. What started as a hobby, love for music, and a great way to make a some extra money, turned into a passion, career, business and brand. Founder Ruben Z. Alvarado A.K.A. DJ Chop has been providing DJ entertainment and much more since. From back yard parties, weddings big and small to larger scale events as well as live show production for bars and night clubs DJ Chop has done it all! Not only has DJ Chop delivered the goods, but has built a solid reputation in the the industry while doing so. With experience and knowledge obtained over many years and countless events the Makeitpopwithchop Entertainment Event Specialist are here and ready to serve you.

We provide nothing less then 5 star service in all we do. Our specialties are providing event entertainment services, from event planning & coordination to live show production and staffing. We have vast experiance in weddings, quinceaneras, private parties, corporate/company events as well as public events of all sizes. We specialize in DJ services, weddings, quinceaneras, band bookings, sound reinforcement, lighting, Master of Ceremonies/hosting, wedding officiating, equipment rental, and more.
